Our Weekend

Friday night was Josh's 14th day, so he was off work. We stayed around the house most of the day.

{before we headed out for the day}
That afternoon we headed to Bass Pro so he could spend his giftcard my sister gave him for his BDAY!

We were in the for what seemed like FOREVER! He wants to make sure he gets just the right things!HA!

{the hat says 'MY FIRST FISHING HAT' - I'm thinking about getting it because it was too cute and would be perfect for when we go with Josh saltwater fishing!}

After we left Bass Pro, we met our Pastor & family at Chili's!

Then, headed to their house to have rootbeer floats and watch Alvin & The Chipmunks
Saturday morning Josh got up and fixed up some breakfast and we layed around for a little while.

Then, we went grocery shopping.

My mom & sister was at our house when we got back!
Us girls headed to HobLob, Sonic, and Burlington Coat Factor for a little shopping.

We got back home and Josh cooked up some low boil{shrimp,Conecuh sausage,onions,and red potatoes}
It was DELISH!!!
We had to pick up my sister's fiance around 9 that night, so K stayed her with my mom because it was way past her bedtime!

Sunday, we went to church and then headed home to eat lunch.
We ate fast so we could head to Dauphin Island!
Josh & Blakely went saltwater fishing and us girls just chilled on the beach!

She didn't stay in the water too long because it is still too cold!

Instead, she hung out in her pool ... with no water! HA!

When we got home Nana, Aunt Heather, & Blakeley headed back home and we headed to Church!

Today, Josh was back on dayshift-PRAISE THE LORD!
I cleaned up, while trying to keep Kaidence entertained.

Josh is home from work giving Kaidence her bath, and we're about to eat dinner and watch TV!

A post, but not really a post...

I have been working on Kaidence's 7 month post today, so I'm too lazy to type anything "real" :)

but...

my sister is getting married May 1st, and I got K's dress this weekend.

Weekend Recap

Sorry I have been unbloggy lately..we've been busy! :)

Friday - Josh was finally off work! He took us girls out to lunch, to get my hair cut, and do some BDAY present shopping. I also found out my aircondition in my car is GONE :( It's going to cost atleast $500 - boo! So, until we get it fixed me & K will be riding with the windows down. If you happen to see me looking like this...

just know it's because 1) I have no air, 2) my hair is short now, so it won't stay in one ponytail and 3) I'm just waaaayyy too lazy busy to put on makeup! HA!

Back to our weekend...

Saturday, we headed to Milton, FL to celebrate all the April BDAYS! It's Josh's, his 2 brother's, his Aunt Lisa and her 2 children!

If you notice, Little Miss was the center of attention! She did really well, and I'm so glad! :)

I didn't get a group picture because the little ones were playing on the slip-n-slide...

But, this is Lauren and JoAnna Grace. She is turning 1! :) And, Kaidence is bigger than her..we do have a healthy baby ;)

Michael and JoAnna Grace are brother & sister and share their BDAY month..

We left the party early because Josh had to work Saturday night :(

Sunday, we missed AM church! :( When Josh woke up we went to Lowe's for him to get some tools for work.

Today, us girls have been grocery shopping. We also took a little trip to HobLob :)

When we got home, I decided to start on my front door project while Josh worked on some stuff in her "man shed". While we did that, Kaidence worked on her tan in her pool ;)

I will post about all my craft projects once I have them complete!

Easter Sunday 2010

We had a wonderful Easter!

I took the girls to church, Josh stayed home even though he REALLY wanted to go. He was so tired because he has been on 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week for about a month or so! It finally caught up with him and he literally couldn't get out of the bed :(
After church, I cooked a big meal for us. We had pork loin, mashed potatoes, macaroni&cheese, peas, corn, and jiffy cornbread muffins! It was delish :)
While we were waiting on Josh to get out of bed, I took Miss K outside to get some pictures in her outfit she wore Saturday to the Easter egg hunt.

I wanted to get some in her dress she wore to church, but she had other plans. She was so tired because she was up Saturday night with a fever of 102.8! :( I gave her tylenol & motrin and it broke. I think it was because a new little toofie broke through her gum! She now has 2 teeth :)

When Josh got up, we gave her what the Easter Bunny had left for her..

{stuffed bunny, 'K' shirt, 8 crotched colored headbands, 2 flower headbands, 2 bow headband, 1 zebra daisy headband, Praise Baby DVD, Max Lucado 2-disc DVD, pig mirror/rattler, touch & feel "Little Chick" book, and a mesh feeder!

She was SO excited when I emptied the basket around her! Her favorite is the pig, she actually "picked it out" on a shopping trip a few weeks ago - I think she remembered it :)

{Nana also got her a dress, shoes, and stuffed lamb from Old Navy last weekend!}

Josh left for work and I took Wendy & Savannah to meet their mom. It was a lot of fun having them for the past week :)

I was finally able to get some pictures of Kaidence in her Easter dress today. These aren't the greatest because she was much more interested in all the noises outside :)

First Easter Egg Hunt

Today was another first for Kaidence! :)

Besides celebrating her Daddy's birthday, she had her first Easter egg hunt.

She was asleep at first..

But, she realized there were alot of kids making alot of noise so she HAD to see what was going on

She found 3 eggs with some help from Mommy & Cousin Wendy! :)

It was a beautiful day for hunting eggs! :)
It did get pretty hot though, so we headed inside to cool off..

{I realize I look like a complete dork with my squinted eyes..but, her face is too much!}

These two master minds were responsible for hiding the eggs.

They acted like there were on a military mission or something, ha!

When they came in to cool off, they of course had to start drumming..

They used random candies - ha!
