The Juppy Baby Walker Review AND Giveaway {06/16/2010 US & Canada}

The Juppy is a new revolutionary walking aid.
Since The American Academy of Pediatrics has called for a ban of baby walkers with wheels, this is a safe way to help teach your little one how to walk!
What I love about The Juppy:
It is lightweight and very compact. It's about the size of her travel case of wipes, so it fits easily into her diaper bag!
It has adjustable straps, which is good because both Josh & I use it and we can adjust it to our needs.
It's unisex! And, can be monogrammed
It is machine washable, and if you have a baby you know how important that is!
It is very affordable-$19.95!
It is safer than wheeled walkers! The American Academy of Pediatrics has actually called for a ban of baby walkers with wheels.
You don't have to bend over to hold her arms to walk. That's two bonuses; I don't feel like my back is going to break because she is heavy and I don't feel like I'm going to hurt her little shoulders.
And, it's Doctor recommended!





It did take Kaidence a little time to adjust to The Juppy, but once she got the hang of it she LOVED it! I find it much easier for Kaidence to walk, because her arms are by herside therefore she is able to balance herself. When she used the wheeled baby walkers, if anyone tried to move her it would cause her feet and legs to bend and drag. With The Juppy, you can just lift her up if she needs to be moved - I like that! I want Little Miss to be safe, and The Juppy seems to be much safer than any other form of learning to walk!

Cha-Cha-Changes!

This weekend we really didnt do anything, but enjoy each other and the great weather! :)
Josh is still working nights, and it is so much harder this time around. But, we're slowly getting use to it!
Today we made some changes around the Thames' house!
I started out by going running this morning. I was a little upset at first because I didn't make it very far then I realized you HAVE to start somewhere. I may not have been able to run 1/2 today, but within the next week or two I will be getting closer. It takes time to get your body in shape!

After I went running, Miss K & I went to the grocery store. We got lots of fruits & vegetables, whole grain foods, sugar free snacks, no pork or beef. I am so ready to start feeling "un-blah"!

Josh woke up when we got home and we walked another 1/2 a mile or so.

Tonight for dinner I made homemade gaucamole and we had turkey meat taco salad with whole grain chips. And, I stopped eating as SOON as I felt myself getting full. That was my big issue - I would eat just because I really do love food! I would be so full I wanted to throw up..:(
Things are changing though!!! :)

We have a pretty busy week ahead! But, I like busy :)
Tomorrow I'm cleaning Miss K's room. It is a disaster! Wednesday @ 1 me & Whitney are getting our $5 facials. We are both getting microdermabrasion. We also have Wednesday fellowship & youth that night. Thursday I am going to be packing most the day. Friday Miss K has her 6 month check-up and we're going to DJ's wedding rehearsal. Saturday is Miss K's 1/2 Birthday!!! and DJ's wedding!

Spring has Sprung!

It has been gorgeous weather here the past 2 days. Today, Miss K even wore capris & a tank it was so warm. We are loving it, too!

Miss K learned a new trick esterday! She has been "tripod" sitting for awhile, well yesterday she decided to sit up on her on forreal. She did it & I started clapping & yelling so she got excited....

Doesn't she just look too thrilled with her squinty eyes, chubby cheeks, and gummy grin. I love it! :)

Also - she has been sleeping at night and during naps in her baby bed. Hallelujah! She has learned how to soothe herself to sleep by talking/singing to herself. It is so precious hearing those little noises!

Sometimes, though, she tricks me and is not napping ...

Today we had another girls day with Whitney & Katie Beth. This time we went to an outdoor mall/shopping center. I bought what I thought was a cute dress from New York & Company. It was orginally $42.95 & I got it on clearance for $14.99. I know why it was on clearance, now. It looks like a sack! Seriously, it has ZERO shape, the neckline is all funky looking, and it has the huge pocket on the chest. NOT what I wanted to wear to Miss K's dedication, so I will be taking it back!

We love our girl days. It gets us out of the house, Miss K interacts with another baby, I talk to another adult, and Josh gets to sleep! :)

Next week me & Whitney are going for $5 facials! Frugal? I think so! ha!

This weekend is a relaxer for us. Josh is going to be working nights, so it will just be me & Miss K! I plan to get lots of crafts & bows done this weekend!

Weekend Recap!

Friday - We didn't do too much. Josh worked until 7pm, then Nana, Aunt Heather, & Blakely got here about 8:30! Miss K did model her new $6 Gap swimsuit.

And, she had some tummy time. She is quite the little lady showing off her 'plumbers crack' ha!

Saturday - Josh had to work, so everybody else went shopping. We went to Kidz Kloset, which is a consignment sale. After that we went to the flea market, lunch @ Red Lobster, Babies-R-Us, Academy, Old Navy, and David's Bridal. We picked up pizzas and movies on the way home and just chilled!

Sunday - We went to church. Miss K wore a super cute outfit from her Nana! We tried to get some good pictures, but she was NOT feeling it! ha! After church we had lunch @ San Miguel, went to Party City and Shoe Station. Nana, Aunt Heather, & Blakely headed back home and we went back to church.

Today - I rearranged our two spare rooms. We use to have a computer/sleep room and music/junk room. I decided to move Miss K's toys into the computer room because they were taking over the living room! I also put the bed in the music room with the chase lounge. It is so much better, and I like changing up rooms! Josh was home today, but slept because he started nightshift tonight. He will be working 6pm-6am for about 2 months! :(

Today I did get some great snail mail that totally made my day!

My Bath & Body Works set I won from Crystal. It smells awesome, by the way! We also got a wedding invitation for Josh's bestfriends wedding. It's March 20th & Josh is the best man! :)

I also finally set a date for Miss K's dedication! It is going to be March 21st @ our church. I am so excited/nervous :)

CHD Awareness Week.

Many of you probably remember my Christmas Day Continued Post. Well, I posted a picture of Josh's Uncle Jeff holding Kaidence.

Jeff has CHD. He has Tetralogy of Fallot just like Bentley. As you can tell, Jeff is older. I think he is 64. I'm not 100% sure, but if I'm wrong..Grammie please let me know! ;) He has never had any kind of surgery for his T.O.F.! Isn't that amazing? I tell you, God is truly amazing. Josh's Grandma has a lot of information about Jeff's CHD. His story is a true testimony of God's work!

Jeff is quite the character, though. He loves to put on a show, loves attention, and pretty women -ha!
