The rest of the story...

I know I already did 2 posts about our weekend.

But, I'm going to share the entire story :)

Thursday - Josh got rained out at work, so we headed to Pensacola to get Wendy & Savannah to spend the weekend with us! We saw their amazing new house and then went to Nikko's for Hibatchi with their family :)


Friday - We got up early and headed to the zoo, had lunch at Subway, went to the exploreum, then we walked around Downtown Mobile.
We looked at several "monuments" and studied up on our history! ;)

{Another post on that to come this Summer!We're planning a History Day with the girls!}

Luckily, K was wore out from all the fun...

So she got in a very good nap while we drove around before heading to the theaters!

We saw 'Shrek 3D'! K was good about 1/2 the time, then she was OVER her busy day.

Good thing this Shrek wasn't my favorite-HA!

Josh had praise&worship practice, so we all just hung out with him and then went to Mexican for dinner-YUM!

Saturday - Josh got up early to go fishing.

Me and the girls stayed in bed until about 8:30, then got up and had a good breakfast.

We had plans to go to the Blueberry festival and to a youth rally, but K had different plans!
She was beyond ill, seriously!

We decided to head to Old Navy and then we picked up McD's for lunch!
We came home and ate watermelon :)

Then, I cooked some yummy Chinese food for dinner.
K went to bed and we stayed up and watched some movies :)

Sunday - Josh got called into work, so just us girls went to church.

K gave us a big scare! She loves standing up in the pew and looking at everybody. She has learned to "rock" herself, too. Yesterday, she decided to mix the two and BAM!

 She hit her little mouth on the bench.

She had big tears streaming down her face and was crying louder than ever before.

She finally let me open her mouth and she was bleeding! :(

I panicked!! I got up to carry her out and a man made a face at her and she started laughing and clapping. SO, I knew she was OK! :)

After church, the girls and I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch.

She really enjoyed playing...and eating NON-eatable things..

K got her first meal at a restaurant :)

She ate about 1/4 of the grilled cheese and a pretty good bit of the apple sauce :)

We came home, got on our lounged clothes and at more watermelon!

The girls left around 3:30 and K fell asleep and slept until Josh got home about 5:15!

She was one tired girl :)

The last few days

have been VERY busy around here!

Wednesday afternoon we went to Nana's house to spend the night.

Aunt Amy had just got back from Disney World and she had bought Kaidence some goodies..

Nana also got her some new outfits.

I noticed some white bumps on K's tongue Tuesday, so I took her to the DR Thursday morning

Turns out, she has thrush!
She was prescribed some medicine - hopefully it will knoc it out SOON!

Aunt Amy came home with us after the appointment.

Last night we just sat around the house and watched 'The Princess and The Frog'

Today, we had lunch at Chili's.

Miss K was in a good mood and was hammin' it up! :)

Then went to BRU to look for a different kind of sippy cup..NO LUCK!
But, she did get a new swimsuit with matching hat and shoes!

Then, she got stuck in her Easter basket...HA!

Nana came down this afternoon and we went to the mall to get Kaidence a dress to wear in my sister's wedding!

Tomorrow, we're planning on going to the beach! WooHoo! :)

Girls Day

We finally got to have our lunch date with Whitney & Katie Beth today! Before lunch, Miss K & I went to Babies-R-Us for a new sippy cup & bib! Her sippy cup started leaking & I forgot to pack a bib! :(
We also went to Old Navy because my crazy self had on 2 tanktops, a 3/4 sleeve shirt, & a 3/4 sleeve sweater. I was burning up!
We went to Santa-Fe Grill for Mexican and it didn't let me down! :)
After lunch, we walked around the mall for 3.5 hours - ha!
We are both SAHMs, so it was nice to have an actual convo with another adult!
Miss K got some new bows & shoes..I got two SUPER cute shirts on CLEARANCE from Forever21!

I think the face K's making descrbes it wonderfully! ha!

I didn't get any pictures of Whitney or KB :(

But, we are going to be having many,many more lunch dates so they will make their blog-debut soon!

Oh yeah - we did go back to David's Bridal today, too. Thank goodness my camera was still there!

Change of Plans

Yesterday, Josh was suppose to work and I was suppose to have a girls lunch with Whitney. Well, neither happened! The company Josh works for drives me MAD! {Another long post in itself!} He was suppose to be working 7-12s still, but something happened and his entire crew was off yesterday. I didn't have lunch with Whitney & KB because she had a ministry meeting. {we are both Assembly of God Youth Leader's Wifes!!}
Josh found out Monday he didn't have to work, so we decided to just do stuff around the house Tuesday. That didn't happen either! Monday night we were eating dinner and Josh's front tooth fell out, again!
{He knocked his tooth all with a pair of 'metal snips' during July/August. He got a crown put on his front tooth. That lasted until Jan then it fell off. He went to the same dentist, got it put back on and the stinkin thing fell off again that same night. He went back to the dentist and she put a longer "rod" in his gum to hold it. It lasted until Monday night!}

Before we went to the dentist we had lunch at the Boiling Pot. It's a yummy seafood restaurant! We headed to the dentist after that. Miss K was not very thrilled to be back in that weird smelling place again. She pitched quite a fit in there and then finally fell asleep. Josh came out $800 later with a big fat top lip and two short teeth front teeth. I couldn't help but laugh! His dentist decided to file is still-in-place front tooth down and cap it as well, because she said that would help stabilize this tooth that keeps falling out. I sure hope so because how silly would he look with 2 missing teeth? -ha!

After we left there we headed to David's Bridal for me to get a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding May 1st. I later realized I dropped my camera out of K's diaper bag in the dressing room and I forgot to put it back in there. Luckily someone turned it in!

We came home and just relaxed. Josh was in some serious pain this time and wasn't a very happy camper. We watched 'Love Happens' & some other movie Josh picked out. 'Love Happens' is GREAT! Both of our noses were "ting-ling" a few times -ha! The other movie was dumb and I fell asleep FAST!

Josh is back at work today. Tonight, me & Le'Anne are doing youth by ourselves. We are starting the FIRE Instituite! Our girls lunch has been moved to tomorrow. I am SO excited! I will get my camera back, have a good lunch, and hang out with a great friend!
