KK's Valentine

The nursery and Missionette classes at church had their Valentine's Part last Wednesday night.
I had this post set to schedule then, but it didn't! :(
I waited to the last minute, and couldn't find any I loved at Target..
so, I went to searching on the internet and found this super cute craft at I Am Momma - Hear Me Roar.
I pretty much did the same thing as her, but I decided to use fun girly colors on Kaidence's card.

I have a picture of the finished product on my camera, I just need to upload them
That is on my to-blog list..and K's 17th Monthday!!!

Valentine Date

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, because there was a chance Josh had to work the rest of the weekend.
{he ended up only working Sunday!}
Kaidence & I decided to make him a home-made card, since we forgot to pick one up at the store.
We don't decorate our house for Valentine's Day, so I had to gather up stuff I had around the house to spruce up the table a bit! :)
We got Josh a gift card to Guitar Center and a canvas of Kaidence for our new project we're working on.
I also fixed a yummy dinner.
We had buffalo shrimp, grilled shrimp, bay scallops, grouper, roasted new potatoes, green salad and rolls.
It was yummy! :)
Josh actually suprised us girls with a little treat, too.
He brought KK a singing balloon.
{that is driving me BANANAS!!!}
And, he got me some lovely flowers!

SheShe Made!

February 2nd is a very special day for our family.
Not because it's Ground hog's Day..
but, it is the day we found out we were going to be parents! :)
This year we decided to make it special for Kaidence.
She got to have spaghetti for dinner and chocolate for dessert!
And, as you can see from the mess on her face, she enjoyed it ;)
She even got to watch her new favorite show - Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Her daddy got her all clean, and while he blow-dried her hair she made sure her teeth were extra fresh and clean!
We came back in the living room to read a book, and she went missing.
I called her and she came from the bathroom with her Barbie Jeep!
She insisted on sitting on it for a little while-ha!

I am so thankful for my spunk little lady!
And, we plan to make our "Found Out Day" a special day for her in the years to come as well!
