The Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we decided to go visit my BFF Lindsey in Oxford and go to the pumpkin patch on Saturday.
It's something we are wanting to make a "tradition" for our little families!:)
The pictures I posted yesterday compared 2009 & this year..it is absolutely crazy to see how much KK has changed!

We were all super, duper excited when we finally saw the sign..
We took our little family picture in the sunflower field.
I tried to take some cute pictures of KK..
she preferred to stare at the other visitors! :)
Addison got her face painted, we stood nearby to watch
A sweet lady gave us 3 free tickets to ride the 'Twactor Train'
We let the guys take the little ladies for a ride
Then, we headed out on the hay ride to find our perfect pumpkin.
Kaidence loved going from pumpkin to pumpkin
She found the perfect one & was so excited! :)
While we waited on the hay ride to come back & pick us up, Addison did a little modeling.
We finally got back on the hay ride and the first thing K did...
took off her bow! :(

We had a lot of fun this year!
I can't wait until next year when K is walking full time.
I'm sure we will be much busier, but I know the girls will have more fun :)

Fall De Rah!

Today, K & I met Whitney, Katie Beth, and Emily to have a little fall fun!
Kaidence was super, duper excited while we waited on them..
{she is not wearing a bow in this picture because she usually takes them out, so I've stopped putting them in until we get out. Well, today right before this picture she picked up her bow and put it up to her head! I shouted "YAE!!!" and started clapping and cheering! I have been waiting on this day for 13 months-ha! She made me so proud! :)}

We finally got to Moss Point and headed on our way to look at the cute decor.
They were far more interested in the hay.
They had this super cute wagon, but this is the worst picture! ha!
The sun was glaring, Katie Beth looks like she is squished, and Kaidence is in her own little world!
I promise my child always has her mouth open.
And, usually she is "singing" or jibber-jabbering about something!
I can't believe how hard it is to get 3 little cuties to look at 1 camera at the same time...
Point A -
It's even hard to get 1 little cutie because she would rather be running lose!
These 2 love to give kisses!
And, again, with her mouth wide open
After today,  I have a new respect for photographers.
Especially children photographers!

Top 2 Tuesday

I know I already posted today, but I couldn't pass this Top 2 Tuesday up!
I absolutely love, love, love looking at old pictures!
Especially now that K is here, I like to compare her pictures to our old baby pictures..
These are 2 of my favorites of Josh as a baby.

And, 2 of me..

And, because I do love old pictures so much, I decided to break the rules :)
These are just some random old pictures.
{that aren't in order...sorry!}
Kristle, me, & Linds at church before Valentine's Service in 07.
Brittany was a majorette and I did color guard..
This was our Senior year in 2006!
This was our Junior or Senior year.
Josh was in a Womanless Beauty Pageant and I am totally feeling him up-ha!
This was our 2nd year of Community College
It was after Josh's last show playing the drums in the LBWCC Ensemble.
When Josh & I were engaged and first married we kept my friend Brittany's son all the time..
His name is Carson and he is now almost THREE! :(
And, the last one.
Josh & I on our honeymoon in Gatlinburg in 2008!

Feel free to check out Taylor's Blog and link up some of your old photos, too! :)

KK's Bathroom Makeover!

We moved into our house over a year ago.
We love the colors that were already in the house, so we haven't repainted anything but K's room before she was born.
I have been wanting to redo her bathroom since she was born, we just never got around to it.
One day at Target, on a spur of the minute decision, I decided it was time to get busy!

This is her bathroom before.
Very bare and boring!
{the blue painters tape was not part of the decor ;)}

I wanted to do something fun and bright.
I just didn't want too girly.
I love the final product!

And, I'm not too sure why the pictures look so crazy/blurry/foggy.
But, I think it's super cute and we will be able to keep it for a few years!

"Home"gating Party

Saturday, Miss K and I got up early to run a few last minute errands.
I think she looked adorable with her dog ears, skinny jeans, and boots!

We got home and finished her bathroom {a post coming soon!} and cooked up lots of yummy food.
Then, we played outside while we waited for all of our guests to arrive.
{no, she doesn't always have a cup! it is just the only time she is still enough for pictures!}

I had my camera out and ready.
We grilled delicious hamburgers & hot dogs.
We had some great appetizers.
We had the best pasta salad and baked beans.
We even had some precious Bama cupcakes.
BUT...
I didn't take one single picture! :(
I guess I was a little over whelmed with 9 adults and 8 kids in my house during an Alabama game!
Next time, though, we will be sure to make up for lost times! :)
