Bullets

I have SO much on my mind right now that I could never write out a real post that makes sense, so I give you bullets! :)

• Kaidence has been SUPER congested, snotty, coughy all things yucky so I took her to see Dr. Cepeda yesterday. He coudn't give her anything for congestion because she is under 2, but turns out she has a MAJOR ear infection in her left ear. Totally strange because she has no fever, no drainage, and hasn't been pulling on it at ALL!
• Josh & I got a word spoken over us at church last night. It was a great thing, but I am so nervous/anxious/excited/FULL OF EMOTIONS!!!!
• Kaidence still poops in the potty, and pees when we sit her on there, but she doesn't let us know before she has to pee, only poop!
• Josh's band is about to start doing 2-3 shows per weekend, and I am hoping K accepts this-ha! She loves the band, just loves her bed and bedtime more sometimes!
• We are going to finish reading Love & Respect. Our Pastor's gave it to us as a wedding gift almost 3 years ago, and I'm sad to say we aren't half way done with it! :( But, we have decided before we get into full time ministry {EEEEEK!!!!!} we need to finish the book!
• I need other Christian books to read. I have heard 'Radical' is good, but have any of you read it?
• I also would LOVE to have a "BLOGGY MEETUP" for Mobile/Baldwin County. Also, the lower Mississippi region. If any of you are from my area, leave a comment. Or, if you read someone's blog from this area let them know! I would love to start a small group/play date once a month!
• I am running out of things to say...so, here is a few pictures of Kaidence! :)

"YESSSSSS!"

16 Months Old

Kaidence, you are 16 months old!!!

You weigh around 26 pounds.

You wear mostly 18 months or 24 months clothes.

You wear size 4 diapers.

You wear any where from 4-6 in shoes!

You are 100% full time walker! You haven't crawled since the week you started walking!

You used your potty for the first time Tuesday. 

I'm not sure if this is "IT", but I'm hoping so because I am tired of buying diapers-ha!

You are a tough little girl! When you fall, or get hurt you get back up and keep going!

You still go to bed on your own without rocking.

You are starting to understand more "commands".

-When we say "Get your shoes", you look for them and come sit in my lap for me to put them on you.

-When we say "Get you juice cup", you get it and sit in your chair.

-When we say "It's bedtime", you start looking for your night time cup.

I am so thankful, because it makes things SO much easier!

Speaking of cups...

During the day you take a regular "hard" sippy cup, but you will not go to sleep with out the "soft" training cup.

I bought you last one ever this week. Once you bite a hole in it, I'm not sure what we are going to do because it's World War 3 trying to get you to sleep with out your beloved cup!

You still cry every.single.time we drop you off at the church nursery.

You love you teacher, Mrs. Reneta, but you only want her and the workers outside of the nursery!
She assures us that she doesn't abuse you-ha! :)

I'm praying soon you will get over the crying spells, and go in there with out a fit!

I know every parent says this, and I have said it a thousand times..but, I cannot believe how fast my sweet "baby" is growing up!

I love watching her grow, learn, and change. But, it's so crazy how fast it happens!

Movie Night

Since I ran out of picture space, I have a lot of catching up to do.

So, get ready! :)

On New Years Day, Lindsey had to work so we took the girls out on to run a few errands.

We went to Lowe's, Hobby Lobby, Target and then Chili's for dinner.

We kept telling them if they were good they could watch Charlotte's Webb when we got home, and have popcorn!

They were both really good, so we kept our end of the deal.

The girls got cute in their winter pajamas and big bows, while waiting on us to pop the popcorn and start the movie.

They got down Kaidence's new pillow pets to lay on, too.

Both girls, of course, had to have a little photo shoot ;)

Kaidence was too into the movie to smile.



Addison was into the movie too, but managed a little smirk.

Josh & I were both shocked at how still and quiet the girls were during the movie.

For about 15 minutes this is what we saw...

And, as loud as these two girls can get.. we will take any amount of quite time!

No Room

I have been trying to upload pictures for a post, but I am out of room for pictures through blogger.
I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase more space, or if buying my own domain will work.

Christmas with Addison

I know I said I was through with Christmas, but I realized I'm not.

Sorry!
I am so far behind, but want to post everything for Kaidence's book.



On New Years Eve, Kaidence & Addison exchanged their Christmas gifts.
Addison and her mommy are living with us until July 23rd, when Lindsey gets married!
It was so fun to watch them rip into their gifts with each other.
They get along so well, which is a huge blessing!
Addison got Kaidence an owl outfit from Baby Gap.
And, Kaidence got Addison a Disney Princess backpack that has a pillow and blanket inside.

15 Month Check up

This month, we changed K's pediatrician to one closer to us.

We were traveling to our home town, about 2 hours away, when she had check-ups.

I loved Dr. Eldridge, but it was just getting to be too much traveling.

She now sees Dr. Cepeda at Children's Medical Group.

I have to say, just from the first visit I do like him a lot.

He was so good with K and took time to explain everything to me. 

Stats:

height - 30 inches - 50%

weight - 25 pounds,10 ounces - 85%

head circumference - 48.5 cm - off the charts!

{this is not new, it has been off the chart since she was a few months old} 

She did get 3 shots while we were there.

I went in totally against the flu shot, but he gave me more information and told me about all the cases he has already seen this year, so we went ahead and got her first ever flu shot!

She checked out "on schedule" or "advanced" in everything, so I was one proud momma!

And, we don't have to go back until she is 18 months!

Christmas Day

After we left Paw-Paw & Grammie's, we headed to K's Great Grandma Liles' house.

K enjoyed opening some gifts.

She got another baby & of course loved it! 

After Grandma Liles', we went to the nursing home to visit my Granny Hardage.

Little Miss Priss thought she was something else roaming the hallways! 

We went back to Grammie & Paw-Paw's to have Christmas dinner.

K played and tried out some new hair styles!
