The rest of the story...

I know I already did 2 posts about our weekend.

But, I'm going to share the entire story :)

Thursday - Josh got rained out at work, so we headed to Pensacola to get Wendy & Savannah to spend the weekend with us! We saw their amazing new house and then went to Nikko's for Hibatchi with their family :)


Friday - We got up early and headed to the zoo, had lunch at Subway, went to the exploreum, then we walked around Downtown Mobile.
We looked at several "monuments" and studied up on our history! ;)

{Another post on that to come this Summer!We're planning a History Day with the girls!}

Luckily, K was wore out from all the fun...

So she got in a very good nap while we drove around before heading to the theaters!

We saw 'Shrek 3D'! K was good about 1/2 the time, then she was OVER her busy day.

Good thing this Shrek wasn't my favorite-HA!

Josh had praise&worship practice, so we all just hung out with him and then went to Mexican for dinner-YUM!

Saturday - Josh got up early to go fishing.

Me and the girls stayed in bed until about 8:30, then got up and had a good breakfast.

We had plans to go to the Blueberry festival and to a youth rally, but K had different plans!
She was beyond ill, seriously!

We decided to head to Old Navy and then we picked up McD's for lunch!
We came home and ate watermelon :)

Then, I cooked some yummy Chinese food for dinner.
K went to bed and we stayed up and watched some movies :)

Sunday - Josh got called into work, so just us girls went to church.

K gave us a big scare! She loves standing up in the pew and looking at everybody. She has learned to "rock" herself, too. Yesterday, she decided to mix the two and BAM!

 She hit her little mouth on the bench.

She had big tears streaming down her face and was crying louder than ever before.

She finally let me open her mouth and she was bleeding! :(

I panicked!! I got up to carry her out and a man made a face at her and she started laughing and clapping. SO, I knew she was OK! :)

After church, the girls and I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch.

She really enjoyed playing...and eating NON-eatable things..

K got her first meal at a restaurant :)

She ate about 1/4 of the grilled cheese and a pretty good bit of the apple sauce :)

We came home, got on our lounged clothes and at more watermelon!

The girls left around 3:30 and K fell asleep and slept until Josh got home about 5:15!

She was one tired girl :)

ZOO!

Yesterday was a lot of firsts for K!
First thing we went to the Mobile Zoo!

It was Josh, Kaidence, Wendy, Savannah, and myself.

It's a very small zoo. It was still nice, though!

The animals aren't in glass cages, they are just in fences. There might be 2-3 feet between you and the animal!

Kaidence was very good the entire time! She rode in her stroller and just watched all the animals like a big girl :)

This little monkey loved the peanuts! It was so funny to watch them crack them open-HA!

These 2 Bengal Tigers were gorgeous. They were up walking around and didn't even pay us any attention...

I think these white tail deer had the right idea chilling out in the shade. It was H-O-T!

There were peacocks just roaming around all over the place!
I was zoomed in AT ALL - this is how close it was to us. I was for sure Kaidence was going to get pecked!

Thursday - Saturday

We had lots of fun this weekend. Family was down, we had great food, went to the beach, and did lots of shopping. But, I didn't get very many pictures :(

Thursday{I know it's not the weekend..} K learned to stand up in her pack-n-play! Wednesday night she learned to stand up in the tub. I don't think anything around our house is safe anymore-HA!

Friday - We decided to head to Dauphin Island. We have been going a lot lately, but with this Oil Spill you never know when it's going to hit! We want to soak up as much beach time as possible.

K loves the sand. She rolls, she throws it, and she eats it! Every.single.time we go to the beach she has to have a little sand snack.

After we left the beach, we went to Bass Pro. Another place we seem to be going a lot-HA!

Josh had to get a bigger fishing pole for his fishing trip Saturday, and I wanted to just be out of the house.

My sister, Heather, got here Friday afternoon and we headed to Mississippi for Josh to get his saltwater fishing licence.

My mom & sister Amy got here later that afternoon.

Saturday - Josh got up before 4 AM to go on an off-shore saltwater fishing trip. Let me just say, Josh is the hardest person to wake up..but, on this particular day he was up and going before the first alarm went off!

That man was ready to fish-HA!

While he fished, we headed to Spanish Fort to pick up my cousins Wendy & Savannah. We had lunch and then met Whitney to pick up precious Katie Beth! {Can you believe I never got a pick of the BFFs?!:(}
We shopped & shopped & shopped after we got KB! 

I bought the little ones matching dresses for a little photo shoot to come!

We came home to see Josh's "loot'! Let me just say, we have enough fish for a long time.

They caught TONS of fish!!

Josh had praise & worship practice, so us girls headed back out to Chili's & Target!

Since this post is already long, I'm going to break our weekend into 2 parts!

Weekend with Old Friends.

Friday - Josh was off work, so we stayed home and cleaned,cleaned,cleaned! We got all the rooms "spring cleaned" and sold some stuff on Craig's List! Also, Kaidence got a few drum lessons from her daddy ;)

Saturday - We left early heading to Evergreen. We went to Josh's parents when we first got into town. Then, we met my BFF Lindsey to head to Andalusia for lunch at Larry's BBQ! After lunch and WalMart, we went to my cousin Tonya's baby shower! Her little girl, Ansley, is due in July :) Kaidence stayed with my mom and sister so we could go to the theaters. It was a blast! It was me, Josh, Lindsey, Kristle,and her mom Kaye! We watched "Letters to Juliet" it was a really good movie, but I laughed the entire time thanks to Ms Kaye and her commentary-HA! After the movie we went back to WM and then to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's! We didn't get home until 1AM!!! {didn't get any pictures :( I did take this one on Josh's phone...Ms Kaye took her expensive drink from the theaters in RT with her-HA! She is crazy!}

Sunday - we went to church at our old church. Lindsey's daughter Addison was with her dad that weekend,but got to come to church to see us! :) I was so glad! After church we went to Kristle &Kaye's for chicken and then headed back home.

Monday - Kaidence & I just hung around the house. She is cutting more teeth and she was not a happy camper!
Today - We went to prayer at church this morning, then I worked on some stuff for Youth. Kaidence sported her very first set of pigtails today. These are the Kula Klips I won - and, they are AMAZING! They are lined with plastic/rubber so they stay in her baby fine hair!

Hope y'all are having a wonderful week! I'm going to work on some crafts, cook dinner, and help Josh prepare his lesson for Youth tomorrow night!

Afternoon at Dauphin Island

After this yummy lunch yesterday..

and, an awesome afternoon nap.

We decided to go watch the sunset at the beach.

It was quiet, cool, and not too crowded - aka PERFECT!
We took 117 pictures, mainly of Josh & Kaidence. I am working on his Father's Day gift :)

My First Mother's Day

"What did my hands do before they held this child?

This was on the card my MIL & FIL sent me for Mother's Day!

I love it!

It's so true, I really don't remember life before being Kaidence's Mommy!
I know she is only 7 months old - but, my life has changed so, so much and I am so, so thankful!

I have had a wonderful Mother's Day {weekend!}

Josh has done so much for me, I am so thankful for my precious, precious husband and baby girl!
We have been to Dauphin Island to the beach, had dinner at Red Lobster's, and today he fixed me breakfast.

He & Kaidence bought me the Lady Antebellum CD and a new hibiscus tree for my gifts!
He is now grilling some yummy steaks and ribs for lunch & dinner.
We are going to enjoy a great lunch, watch movies, and just spend time together today! :)

And just for fun, this was Mother's Day last year.

I was 4 or 5 months pregnant.

I am glad I have my precious girl here with me this year, instead of taking awkward tummy pictures...

how I really felt about all the pictures...HA!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Our Weekend

Friday night was Josh's 14th day, so he was off work. We stayed around the house most of the day.

{before we headed out for the day}
That afternoon we headed to Bass Pro so he could spend his giftcard my sister gave him for his BDAY!

We were in the for what seemed like FOREVER! He wants to make sure he gets just the right things!HA!

{the hat says 'MY FIRST FISHING HAT' - I'm thinking about getting it because it was too cute and would be perfect for when we go with Josh saltwater fishing!}

After we left Bass Pro, we met our Pastor & family at Chili's!

Then, headed to their house to have rootbeer floats and watch Alvin & The Chipmunks
Saturday morning Josh got up and fixed up some breakfast and we layed around for a little while.

Then, we went grocery shopping.

My mom & sister was at our house when we got back!
Us girls headed to HobLob, Sonic, and Burlington Coat Factor for a little shopping.

We got back home and Josh cooked up some low boil{shrimp,Conecuh sausage,onions,and red potatoes}
It was DELISH!!!
We had to pick up my sister's fiance around 9 that night, so K stayed her with my mom because it was way past her bedtime!

Sunday, we went to church and then headed home to eat lunch.
We ate fast so we could head to Dauphin Island!
Josh & Blakely went saltwater fishing and us girls just chilled on the beach!

She didn't stay in the water too long because it is still too cold!

Instead, she hung out in her pool ... with no water! HA!

When we got home Nana, Aunt Heather, & Blakeley headed back home and we headed to Church!

Today, Josh was back on dayshift-PRAISE THE LORD!
I cleaned up, while trying to keep Kaidence entertained.

Josh is home from work giving Kaidence her bath, and we're about to eat dinner and watch TV!
